The 19th annual International Festival was held on Sunday, September 18, 2016 organized by Holy Family Church, Union City. Mrs. Rita and Kirit Jakaria being a prominent members of this church, the Gujarati Christian community is always been part of this event. For the last few years a non-Christian Indian dancing group “Kalamanjari” managed by Ms. Madhimita Roy is participating in this event and providing wonderful performances by young kids. સેંટ પૉલ માનવ વિકાસ કેન્દ્ર દ્વારા અપંગો માટે રોજગાર ભરતી મેળો યોજાયો.
તારીખ 25/9/2016 ને રવિવારના રોજ પેટલાદ મરિયમપુરા ફાધર ગોરસ હોલ ખાતે અપંગ યુવક યુવતીઓ માટે રોજગારલક્ષી ભરતી મેળો હતો. સવારે 11:00 કલાકે સેંટ પૉલ માનવ વિકાસ કેન્દ્ર આણંદના પ્રમુખશ્રી હસમુખ ક્રિશ્ચિયન, શ્રી બહુજન વિકલાંગ ટ્રષ્ટ પેટલાદના પ્રમુખશ્રી, કૃષ્ણ હોસ્પિટલ કરમસદના ફીઝીયો વિભાગના શ્રી બકુલ પરમાર, સેંટ મેરીઝ મરિયમપુરાના શ્રી શૈલેષ મેકવાન તથા સૌથી ઓછી ઊંમર ધરાવતા વિકલાંગ દ્વારા દિપ પ્રાગટ્ય કરી કાર્યક્રમની શરૂઆત કરવામાં આવી હતી. દીન દયાળ ઉપાધ્યાય ગ્રામીણ કૌશલ્ય યોજના અંતર્ગત આયોજીત આ ભર્તીમેળામાં લગભગ 50 વિકલાંગોએ ભાગ લીધો. છેલ્લા ઘણા વર્ષોથી શ્રીકૃષ્ણ હોસ્પિટલ કરમસદ ખાતે ફીઝીયો થેરાપી વિભાગમાં સેવા આપતા શ્રી બકુલ પરમાર દ્વારા સરકારશ્રીની વિકલાંગો માટેની વિવિધ યોજનાઓની માહીતી સૌને આપવામાં આવી હતી ત્યારબાદ youth 4 jobs ના અલ્પેશભાઇ દ્વારા વ્યવસાયલક્ષી તાલીમ તથા જરૂરી લાયકાત ઉપરાંત ભવિષ્યના લાભો વિષેની વિગતે ચર્ચા કરવામાં આવી હતી. બપોરના 2:00 વાગ્યા સુધી ચાલેલા આ કાર્યક્રમમાં કૅથોલિક ચર્ચ મરિયમપુરા દ્વારા જગ્યા ઉપરાંત તમામ વિકલાંગો માટે નાસ્તો પુરો પાડી પોતાનું યોગદાન આપ્યું હતું.
