� સુરત જીલ્લાના આદિવાસી વિસ્તારના ઊંડાણનાં ઝંખવાવ ગમે આવેલી આ શાળા આદિવાસી કિશોર કિશોરીઓનાં ભણતર માટે એક વરદાન રૂપ છે. શાળાનું જાહેર પરીક્ષઓનુ પરિણામ લગભગ સો ટકા હોય છે. આ શાળામાંથી આજ સુધીમાં સેંકડો આદિવાસી વિદ્યાર્થીઓ -વિદ્યાર્થિનીઓ ભણીને ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણ લઈને જીવનમાં પ્રગતિ કરી છે. શાળામાં અનેકવિધ પૂરક પ્રવૃતિઓ દ્વારા જીવન ઘડતર થાય છે ને એ રીતે આવતીકાલના દેશપ્રેમી અને સામાજિક નિસબત ધરાવતા નાગરીકો ઘડાય છે. રમત ગમત ક્ષેત્રે પણ શાળાનું પ્રદાન અનોખું છે. આધુનિક પાદ્ધાત્તિથી અંગ્રેજી શીખવવામાં આવે છે. શાળામાં દ્રશ્ય શ્રાવ્ય પ્રોગ્રામો માટે આધુનિક સુવિધા ઉપલબ્ધ કરવામાં આવેલી છે ને તેનો મહત્તમ ઉપયોગ કરવામાં આવે છે. શાળાનો સ્ટાફ બહુ જ નિષ્ઠા પૂર્વક સેવા બજાવે છે જે શાળાની સફળતા પાછળનું રહસ્ય છે.
તા ૧૫ અને ૧૬ ઓક્ટોબર દરમ્યાન રિશ્તા સંસ્થા દ્વારા ધો ૧૧ નાં છાત્રો માટે પત્રકારત્વની કાર્યશાળાનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું અને તેમને કલમ રૂપી શક્તિશાળી હથિયાર તેમના હાથમાં મૂકવામાં આવ્યું હતું જેથી તેમને નડતી સમસ્યાઓ સામે તેઓ પોતાનો અવાજ ઉઠાવે ને પોતાના વિસ્તારની સુખાકારીની જવાબદારી અદા કરે.

21 Years young Richie Christie (son of Rita & Roozvelt Christie) passed away on October 13, 2012 in a car accident. He was taken to the Madison Hospital with a serious injuries. He was pronouced dead after some time.

“You have Faith but you do not have acts of Charity, Your faith is dead” words of Fr. Louis as he was preaching on the Inaugural day of the ‘Year of the Faith’ at St. Paul Church, Sabarmati, Ahmedabad. Fr. Melchior the parish Priest and the Sisters of St. Ann’s of Providence along with the faithful entered the Church door as they thanked the Lord for the Gift of Faith.

The diocese of Ahmedabad inaugurated the Year of Faith on 14th Oct. 2012 at St. Xavier’s Church, Gamdi-Anand. The individual parishes of the Ahmedabad diocese have started the inauguration from 11th Oct “The Year of Faith”. His Lordship Bishop Thomas Macwan gathered the faithful, Religious and priests Rev. Fr. Pariza and and senior most Catechist Mr. Paulbhai unveiled the Logo of the year of Faith.
