Known as the “Home of Cricket”, Lord’s Cricket Ground in London carries more than two centuries of tradition, and one of its most prestigious recognitions is a name etched on the honours board.

The Lord’s honours boards are mounted inside the dressing rooms at the Pavilion. They record individual performances in Tests – specifically, centuries, five-wicket hauls in an innings and ten-wicket match hauls.

Since 2019, ODIs have also been included on the Honours Boards, opening the door for both men and women. India Women made history by playing their first-ever Test at Lord’s in 2026, and Kranti Gaud and Yastika Bhatia became the first Indian women to earn places on the iconic boards with a five-wicket haul and a century respectively. However, no Indian woman has yet made the Lord’s ODI Honours Board, with no century or five-wicket haul recorded by an Indian player in a Women’s ODI at the venue.

Indian batters on the Lord’s honours board

From Vinoo Mankad’s 184 in 1952 to Yastika Bhatia’s 113 in 2026, Indian batters have had their moments of glory at Lord’s. Both are from Gujarat. Vinoo Mankad from Jamnagar and Yastika Bhatia from Vadodara.

Bhatia became the first woman to score a Test century at Lord’s in India’s second innings.

Debutant Kranti Gaud became the first woman to feature on the board after taking 5/37 in England’s first innings in the historic Lord’s Test match in 2026.

Only one Indian Cricketer has etched his name in both category as a batter and bowler is  Vinoo Mankad. He is from Jamnagar, Gujarat.

But ironically some of India’s most successful cricketers did not make it to this list as below:

Sunil Gavaskar – Perhaps the greatest opening test batter of all time was not able score a test century at Lord’s. Though in 1987 he made 188 playing for the rest of the world against MCC. Though it was a first-class game and was his last game.

Sachin Tendulkar – He has scored 51 test centuries but was not able to score it at Lord’s. But like Gavaskar he scored 125 for MCC against rest of the world in Diana memorial match in 1998.

Virat Kohli – He has scored 30 test centuries but was not able to score at Lord’s. He is still playing ODI. The next game on Lord’s is on Sunday July 19, 2026. All the best Virat.

Anil Kumble – He has taken 619 test wickets. But he could not take 5 or more wickets at Lord’s.

R Ashwin – He has taken 537 test wickets. He played only one test with no wickets.

There are other legendary cricketers from other countries also couldn’t make it to the honours board.

Brian Lara of West Indies
Shane Warne of Australia
Jacques Kallis of South Africa
Curtly Ambrose of West Indies
Wasim Akram of Pakistan
Matthew Hayden of Australia
