Children from in and around New Jersey of different ethnic groups of India and Sri Lanka will participate. Sr. Smita Thomas Parmar from Anand currently working in Vaishali, Bihar . She was awarded Zila Mahila Sanman along with 26 other woman on International Women’s Day on March 08, 2015. These awards were given to women for their involvement in advocacy and awareness creation, motivaiton, community mobilization, women’s empowerment, skill development training and capacity building and enterprise promotion in conjunction with the other tangible activities.
