Meet & Greet of the founders of Cenacle Sisters of The Sacred Heart, Fr. Tomy Churathil and Mother General Chandrika – Gujarati Catholic Samaj of USA

The Cenacle Sisters of the Sacred Heart is a Pious Association founded by Rev Fr Tomy Churathil SAC and Rev Mother Chandrika on 8th September 2002, under the patronage of His Grace Most Rev Joseph Augustine of Raipur Archdiocese, Chhattisgarh, India.

They were here in US for a short visit but even with their busy schedule they informed us to have at least one meeting. We immediately accepted their kind gestor. The members of Gujarati Catholic Samaj of USA were fortunate and blessed to meet both Fr. Tomy Churathil and Mother General Chandrika on March 03, 2020.

During this Lenten season we got the very much needed spiritual guidance and blessings from both of them. Fr. Tomy gave us very thoughtful speech and individually blessed each and every one present.  They promised us that they will spend little more time with our community. We will plan it in advance and make an announcement accordingly.

In 2015 they opened up a house in Peru and after installation Mother General Sr. Chandrika came to New Jersey and we were honored to meet her and witnessed the first hand testimony of her struggle to do the God’s work.

Now they have opened up a house in Fairview, New Jersey on 1st September 2019. Sr. Chetna is stationed there. We honored to have Sr. Chetna participated in our annual Christmas program on December 28, 2019.
