Bishop Godfrey de Rosario, Bishop of Vadodara was fallen from the stairs in the rectory. He was taken to the Sterling Hospital, Vadodara where he was treated. He is now out of ICU and resting in a private room under observation. He might be released tomorrow. We pray for your speedy recovery Bishop.
Bishop Godfrey de Rosario, SJ was born on September 13, 1946, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat state. He was ordained a priest of the Society of Jesus on April 22, 1978, and served as Provincial Superior of the Jesuits in Gujarat before his ordination as Bishop of Baroda (Vadodara) on December 28, 1997.
Mr. Lucius Parmar, father of Mr. Robin Christian passed away in Los Angeles on February 14, 2016 at the age of 94. Mr. Robin Christian is from Anand and currently living in Bloomfield, NJ and active member of Gujarati Christian community of the tristate area. May God rest him in peace and grant comfort to his family and friends. His funeral service is scheduled on Saturday, February 20, 2016.
