The funeral service will be held in Brooklyn, New York and interment service will be held at Rosehill Cemetary, Linden, New Jersey. Mrs. Maniben Chitnis passed away at the age of 104 on January 16, 2012
Mrs. Maniben Chitnis (05/24/1907-01/16/2012), mother of Mr. Vinubhai Chitnis, Madhubhai Chitnis, Vijaybhai Chitnis, Chandrakant Chitnis of N. Carolina, Hemlata Hiram Christian of California and Shobha Chitnis, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2012 at Meadowbrook Manor (Nursing Home), Naperville, IL. She went peacefully into the arms of Lord Jesus.

Please pray for the entire Chitnis family at this time of great loss. Maniben Chitnis was 104 years old. Though the entire Chitnis family knew this was going to happen and they prepared themselves, it is still hard when it finally happened.

 We just celebrated the birth of our savior Lord Jesus Christ on December 25th, yesterday December 26 was St. Stephen, Martyr (Feast) and today I have sad news of death to report. My brother-in-law Mr. Stephen Macwan passed away today at around 5:00PM Indian time, in Ahmedabad. He is survived by his wife Catherine (Niru, my sister) two sons Rajani, Amit, daughter Malti, seven grand children and a huge family in India and USA. May God rest him in peace. He will be greatly missed. His youngest son Amit, his wife Purvi with son Braxton and Alayana are leaving for India today.
The funeral will be held on December 29, 2011 at 10:00am Indian time at St. Joseph Church, Maninagar, Ahmedabad. |
