Sr. Smita Thomas Parmar was Awarded Mahila Sanman on International Women’s Day.

Sr. Smita Thomas Parmar from Anand currently working in Vaishali, Bihar . She was awarded Zila Mahila Sanman along with 26 other woman on International Women’s Day on March 08, 2015. These awards were given to women for their involvement in advocacy and awareness creation, motivaiton, community mobilization, women’s empowerment, skill development training and capacity building and enterprise promotion in conjunction with the other tangible activities.

Asians & Pacific Islanders for Mary Pilgrimage 2015 to Washington DC.

The multi-cultural ministries of Metuchen Diocese has once again organized a pilgrimage to Basilica of the National Shrine of the immaculate Conception, Washington DC. This pilgrimage is sponsored by the Asian and Pacific Catholic Network (APCN) in collaboration with the USCCB’s Secretariat for Cultural Diversity. A bus with 56 seats is already reserved with discounted price of $30.00 per person.
