It is with saddened hearts, and yet with a sure Joy that Jesus is Lord that we share the news of the passing of our dear sister in Christ, Eunice Jones Mathews. Born in India on April 29, 1914 to two young missionaries, E. Stanley Jones and Mabel Lossing Jones, Eunice went on to have an amazing life of service and love. Eunice was married to Bishop James Matthews and had three children, Anne, Jan, and Stanley. Just recently, on February 16, Sister Eunice fell and suffered from a cerebral hemorrhage. She went on to glory on February 27, 2016. Her life and legacy is a treasure to us all. She has blessed the lives of thousands of people the world over and her loving devotion will continue to be an inspiration in countless ways. Please keep her children, Anne and Stanley in your prayers.
