Please note I sent out the below email last night to all of my contacts in US, Canada and other countries. I got several responses from various friends. Thank you very so much for your prayers, support, concern and suggestions.
Along with my brother Ketan Christian and his brother-in-law Alex Rathod, I visited Mr. Sam Christian today. He is in much better position than he was last week as per the hospital staff.
He is under heavy sedation for now but slowly they will reduce the drugs and see how he responds, they will try to take him off the ventilation. They will see if he can breathe on his own and then determine what to do next. As not being a family member the hospital doesn’t discuss and or disclose much information to us.
His doctor was not available so as the social worker. But they provide the number to call on Monday to arrange a letter for his wife to apply for a visa so she can be with him at this critical moment as there is nobody there to be with him. Lots of people around the world are praying for him. Let’s hope for best. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. Dear Friends,
Please note yesterday someone contracted me through Facebook messenger and asked me about the health of Mr. Sam Christian, son of Rev. David Christian (Vadodara). Then I got a phone call from Mr. Mahendrabhai & Stellaben parmar from North Bergen this morning informing about Mr. Sam Christian and his conditions.
Mr. Sam Christian is son of Rev. David Christian who was pastor of Sharon Methodist church, Vadodara. Mr. Sam is living in Hamilton Square, New Jersey. He is my Facebook friend. He was married to Glory on April 11, 2015 and he became US citizen on January 15, 2016. His wife is still in India waiting for her visa call. So he is living along on his own.
Few weeks ago he went to the emergency room at hospital with bleeding from his nose, mouth and ears. He was admitted to ICU and he is on ventilator. His diagnosis is cirrhosis of liver.
As you are aware that the hospital and its staff won’t disclose or discuss, his condition with other than his immediate family. He doesn’t have any relatives here with him. His wife is in touch with the hospital and she is trying to be here with him at this critical situation. She got a letter from hospital stating that he is not well. She applied for visa based on that letter but she was denied because she is already waiting for her immigration visa. She needs a new letter with her husband’s current condition to submit to the consulate but the hospital is not willing to provide.
So I come to you as a fellow Gujarati Christian for a help. Please read the above message carefully and provide your prayers, thoughts, suggestions etc. I am planning to visit Mr. Sam Christian on Saturday, February 27, 2016. I will provide more details after that.

Bishop Godfrey de Rosario, Bishop of Vadodara was fallen from the stairs in the rectory. He was taken to the Sterling Hospital, Vadodara where he was treated. He is now out of ICU and resting in a private room under observation. He might be released tomorrow. We pray for your speedy recovery Bishop.
Bishop Godfrey de Rosario, SJ was born on September 13, 1946, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat state. He was ordained a priest of the Society of Jesus on April 22, 1978, and served as Provincial Superior of the Jesuits in Gujarat before his ordination as Bishop of Baroda (Vadodara) on December 28, 1997.
