Dear Family and Friends,
On September 29, 2012, I will be participating in the Canary Challenge, a cycling event to benefit the Stanford Cancer Institute (SCI). Because I want to make a difference to the many family, friends, and colleagues in my life who have been touched by cancer, I have made a commitment to raise funds for the SCI.
The Canary Challenge is a great event and I will spend the day riding through the foothills of the Peninsula with other cyclists, including some pro riders. Riders can choose from a 100-km, 100-mi, 75-km, or 50-km. I know that I will feel like I’ve really accomplished my goals once I cross the finish line.
I will raise at least $400 in donations for the SCI. It’s always a big challenge to take on, but I’m very excited about doing it because I know it makes a real difference. The funds raised will help the Stanford Cancer Institute give patients every clinical and technological advantage in the early detection, prevention and treatment of cancer.
Please consider an investment in the fight against cancer and financially support the Stanford Cancer Institute. 100% of your donation benefits directly the SCI. You can make a donation online or by mail, using our downloadable form.
You can also help me in passing this message along to others who may be interested in being a part of the Canary Challenge.
I can’t do it without your help. I hope that I can count on your support. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Aimee
