Late Richie Christie is alive today and will live in our hearts forever.
21 years old Richie Christie passed away on October 13, 2012 in a car accident. But he is still alive in our hearts. He made a choice in life that if and when his life will have to move on; his organ must be donated to those in need to give a second chance. He gave second chance to two lives, one from state of Michigan and the second from state of Wisconsin. Who wouldn’t be proud of him?
His parents Ritaben and Roozveltbhai received a Certificate of Recognition in Memory of Richie Christie from the State of Wisconsin personally signed by the Governor Scott Walker. UW hospital was decorated by the beautiful lighting especially in the memory of Richie Christie and others who gave a second chance to someone else by donating their organs before passing on.
Mr. & Mrs. Christie, Ritaben and Roozveltbhai would like to thank each and every one who showed their care and concern from the time the news spread of Richie’s accident on October 13. They would like to thank each and every one who showered their love and lots of prayers since and after the news spread of Richie’s passing away through phone calls, email, text messages and personal visits. They are very thankful to all the friends and family members for standing by them and sharing their pain during their rough and tough time. They would like to thank those who attended Richie’s memorial and burial services. They are thankful for all those who came from all directions and distance and specially the Gujarati Christian community of New Jersey and New York. Please always keep them in your prayers.
